When I put the replacement lock in, it fit in the door’s metal housing box fine, but then i learned that the box was not big enough to accommodate the turning mechanisms. I had to drill a small lateral hole in the back of the box to give enough tolerance for the rear mechanisms to move freely. Took a few minutes, but was pretty simple. Works great now.
