John - we have boondocked 2.5 months out of 3 each winter for the last 4 years in Key West. In that time we didn't once use the propane combo - it just made the coach to hot. We'd use the Coleman outside grill, the microwave/convection oven or electric skillet. We run our on-board generator each morning to run our coffee maker, toaster and/or electric skillet. We felt the amount of heat generated simply made the coach to hot and had us running our AC to counter it. The remainder of the year (we spend 8-9 months each year living in our coach) we spend in full hook ups. Easy call for us.
