I just cannot understand why THOR continues to do this kind of sloppy work (my coach is 2018). They must be aware of the problem due to the numerous reports and the liability to them is enormous. Very dangerous and someday WILL start a fire and someone may get hurt. Not going anywhere until I check every available electrical splice, particularly on the 110 side.

Thank you so much Dave, and everyone who alerted us, this could have ended badly.
My coach was built in December 2014 and it had the same problem ... been going on for a long time. The water heater is installed under the kitchen sink and not easy to access. You would think by now they’d figure out that the issue could be eliminated by putting a pigtail on the water heater before installing it and moving the connecting point to a box in a more convenient location.

How much has Thor spent fixing this problem under warranty over and over?
