RV in the shop too much?

In the first year shop time is absolutely unavoidable. As much as we have all hated spending tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars on RV's we all now know we are going to the shop in that first year no matter what. The RV industry is nothing like other consumer product producers. Ford or GM would never put out such poor quality cars because nobody would buy them. In the RV industry they all produce an equally poorly made product so we all buy them anyway. If an RV builder started building RV's with the quality material and workmanship to make it the absolute best, we couldn't afford to buy them. It's a house on wheels and driving your house down the road will create problems. Most first year issues are builder issues and need to go in for warranty repair/replacement. Once you get past that first year all the bugs are worked out and you get to start actually enjoying your purchase.
