I have road warriored when necessary like Chicago to Texarkana or Sioux Falls 780/600 miles respectively. I don't recommend it but it can be done when the family need arises like when you need to attend a funeral. You will be wiped out for the following day after pushing that hard.

I have learned that anything over 350 miles is no longer enjoyable and tends to turn into work. I like to RV for pleasure so I avoid it becoming work. In the end the miles per day you travel will fall within your personal comfort zone as well as be influenced by your Dear Wife who insists on stopping to see the worlds biggest ball of yarn that's "only 78 miles off course".

Sometimes it isn't the DW's idea to stop at the largest ball of twine, Punxsutawney, the Corn Palace, or any other site mentioned on Roadside America. In our case its usually me that wants to stop at Carhenge, or the Route 66 Museum, or any one of a number of Muffler Men.
