I don’t know if you are having same problem I had, but here is what happened to me. While in the mode to pair, the phone and radio would not recognize each other. I read a suggestion on this forum to reset the Axxera.
There is a tiny reset button-you will need something small to push it in (a paper clip, pen or tip of a small screw). My reset button is on the bottom left. After the reset, the phone and radio recognized each other, I entered the password that showed up on my phone (0000) and they paired.
Your button may be in a different spot like on the top left just above the screen edge.
