7-pin and 12v source

Hi, does anyone know if the 7-pin connector at the rear of the coach can be used to tap into a constant 12v power source?

Reason I ask: I'm setting up my toad and have a brake system that requires constant 12v power. Rather than plug into the cigarette lighter type source, I want to power it from the coach so it doesn't deplete the toad battery in transit.

If you are using a successful solution to this, can you go into a little detail?

Thanks.
