I would pull the cover off and see whats happening behind it. You may has some type of build up on the inside flange that is acting like a damn or just a small blockage. Might as well re caulk the opening as long as the cover is off, tighten any screws etc. There has to be an easy fix as Dometic has millions of those on RVs.
