I quit carrying a compressor with a tank some time back. Instead, I have a small but mighty 120v inflator, capable of inflating my Vegas tires to 65 psi from about half that in a few minutes.
No it's not the fastest or quietest, but good enough for me on the rare occasions when I need it. Best of all, it doesn't take much space to store. Under $60 at Sears.
