Same issue on both the Challenger and now the Accolade, however, I found there is enough flex, or wiggle room to allow me to put a deep well socket on the plug and then attach a ratchet or breaker bar. Be gentle and it will work.
As a note a 6 point socket is best to use on the plug because a 12 point tends to round off the plug. Now if I could just remember where I put the 12 point socket after the last Challenger winterization.
