One more comment about removing the overhead bunk rear section: The hinge is a piano type that runs the entire length of the bunk; lots of screws. I removed the screws from the forward section that remains on the coach. That way, the hinge goes with the rear section that I removed. At each end where the panels pivot there is a shouldered bolt that serves as a pivot point; that has to come out as well, but very easy to remove. Then the rear section can be easily taken down - but it is heavy, so a helper is required. The nice thing about this is that it's easily re-installed if you change your mind or decide to sell or trade.


Now I just have to find a place to store it!
