How far can you tow with an EV (Model X)

Here is that family again (the one that got a smaller trailer to pull behind their new Model X) going on a 600 mile road trip:


Of course this confirms that EVs lose a bit more miles than gas vehicles do due to towing (~100 miles so 1/3 the range).

When we had the bumper-pulls and the 5th wheel our gas pickups (Ranger, F-250, and F-350) would lose about 1/2 the miles, give or take (I'm sure there is less range loss on a Diesel).

Note their power consumption towing ~900+ wH/mile about 3x normal (which is what you'd expect for 1/3 the range).
