Bob Denam, I replaced my original group 24s and put in 4 of the gel cell, same size as the group 30, Renogy rep told me they should last 10 years an they were only $250.00 each, I have been told the Lithium will maintain 12 volts all the way down to about 20%, I have only heard rumors and have yet to talk to any one who has made the switch, I put 4, 100 watt solar panels on the roof and they keep them charged as long as the sun will shine, rep also told me to run them completely down every 4 months and then recharge, I have not done that an I have had them in for over 3 years, it would take a lot to drain all of them completely down, I am sure if I tried to do it through the inverter I might create problems for that, still on a learning curve.
