I wanted to follow up with an update; Turns out I have Cummins service center nearby and they were able to look at my ONAN 4000 Gen this week that was flashing a red light and clicking. Apparently the switch on the Generator had developed a short and according to the Mechanic acting like it was trying to perform the prime/Start cycle on its own. Put it wouldn't actually start. They tested with a switch on hand and have ordered a new one which should be in tomorrow. Mechanic said he had never personally seen this issue before. All under warranty so a happy ending( assuming I can pick up tomorrow in time for my trip this weekend.
