Welcome aboard! We bought 1 year old a dealer rental and have been pleased with it. This was not our first motorhome, though it was our first class A. Our last coach had all the ticky tackey crap that goes wrong on a new unit, it took a year to shake out most of the bugs. This one the dealer had done the "de-bugging" while it was in the rental fleet.
I bought the extended warranty for my ACE as the factory warranty was expired. You will hear pros and cons to the extended warranty. You can cancel an extended warranty and get a refund for the duration not used. I felt it was a good investment, at least short term. First summer on the warranty I had the electric steps repaired and a tire with a cut on the inside sidewall replaced.
