1. Is bulb-seal replacement a normal maintenance item?

2. Is there a way to test to see if the slide-out is retracting all the way at the bottom or adjust the amount it pulls in?
Me too.
Example...
Next to a highway with the slide in
The only noise I hear is from the upper cavity of the slide
Now after checking it...

Here’s why...there’s no rubber bulb-seal
That can’t be right, can it???
The “top bulb-seal Thor guy” went on break and never returned to finish the job

So now I gotta get one

It’s 3/4 diameter and the T is 3/16”
