The simplest way to isolate the issue:

#1 find the cable splitter. Usually hidden in or behind cabinets

#2 connect Wally directly to the main incoming cable line to see if that works. If you still don’t get a signal, it may be that the Thor RG6 cable isn’t up to spec for your Tailgater

A fix is to create a new external connection port thru the outside wall nearest to where you desire to have your Wally.
Then run a short RG6 cable to the Wally
