After all my searching and all the feedback the problem was the radio itself as I figured.
The good part thanks to this forum and a very nice gentleman it’s fixed.
A gentleman named Richard from the state of California saw my problem and told me he had the same radio I had setting on a shelf that worked and would give it to me. He had put a different radio in his rig and didn’t need this one.
I paid the shipping and he sent it to me here in Missouri. Received it yesterday installed it today and works fine.
There are still some good guys around. Thanks Richard and to all that gave suggestions.
