Oil Change

We changed the oil today in the V10. Picked up oil and filter at one of the large chain auto parts stores. When I climbed under the RV I was mystified by a very small oil filter about the size you would find on a lawn tractor screwed into the spot where a real filter is supposed to be. (about 1/2 the size of FL 820S Motorcraft) Last spring I had the oil changed at one of the oil change depots that could fit an RV as I had just had knee surgery and couldn't crawl.
Long story short I even if you have the service work done to avoid having to crawl around I guess you should have somebody inspect the work. Why would they put that crappy little filter on a 6.8L engine? Are they saving 1/2 quart of synthetic oil on every change to pocket more profit? Or as I suspect the dopey kid under the RV didn't have the proper filter and screwed in something that would fit and didn't leak!
Either way after I call the place and B--ch I will not be going back!
