Because the BIM ties the house and chassis you have to put the battery disconnect on the positive cable leading to the 50amp bus fuse that leads to the breaker panel. If you use a disconnect to the ground cable the bim will bypass the house and connect to the chassis ground

I found this out when my ground disconnect didn't kill the power. I removed both ground and positive to my batteries and the lights were still on. Call to thor and was told it was impossible for the lights to still be on
a call to precision circuits solved the mystery. It's the bim doing its job
