Quite legible on my BlueSkySea cameras at times. Depends on distance, lighting, and angle.
First picture is on my 1080P laptop display at "Fit to screen 20 mph heading to Lowes
Second picture is from the same still but at native resolution (over-running the screen:.
Third picture is at 40 mph at native resolution. You can read most of the left lane's vehicle's license plate if you zoom in, but not much of the vehicle's straight ahead.
