Have a 2016 hurricane and the same thing happened to me 40 miles from home in a bad rainstorm. The drivers side fell to the window frame and the passenger side fell to the grill. When I got home I swung the arm up and it started working again. I think it is because of too much play in the linkage. Will bring it in in October for that and a list of warranty repairs.
