Insulating Front Cap Thor Ace 30.1

I have searched and cannot find any good threads on doing this. I looked at the cap from inside and see a panel on each end to access the bed raising mechanics. It looks like I can cut some pieces of insulation and work them in front each side. Has anyone done this?
It has to generate a lot of heat and cold as the fiberglass is thin.
This would have been very easy to do at the factory and very little expense if it doesn't cause any issues with condensation.
