2017 Thor ACE Trade v. No Trade Pricing

Hi everyone,

I had posted a week or so ago about how frustrated I was that dealers weren't calling me back with pricing on the 2017 ACE 29.4 or 27.2. I am finally getting one dealer that has provided the first round of prices and they are only $3000.00 apart with trade and without trade, but both prices are $17K-$20K higher than the salesman initially said he could get me in a 29.4.

I know there is negotiations involved, but I find it interesting that when I requested a price through RV Trader the first saleman came back with "under $80K with no trade". Now they can't figure out where he came up with that and no way it can happen. I kind of chuckled and said okay, I'll keep looking then. I told them to call me when they had units in stock and were ready to sell.

I feel like the ACE is not likely to be a unit that will have much negotiating room due to their high demand. Do some of you more experienced negotiators agree?

Thanks for your time and knowledge.
