So Dave (Sundance) went to the FMCA meet in Chandler Az. He attended several classes and he forwarded a lot of info he gather
One of the things was about co/ propane alarms. I never looked for mine in the 29m. So i went into the mh and couldn't find it. Finally i pulled the bed comforter up and found it at the foot of the bed. Im not an expert but i think its safe to say these alarms should not be covered
I went on amazon snd found these. I checked the ul rating and they are for mh without the high mh price

I installed one below the tv in the livingroom. Solid wall location. The other one ill place on the bedside night stand. These can be wall mounted or lay on a table. I will also make sure to either lift the comforter up on to tge bed or tuck it under the mattress at night when sleeping
Ive never had a problem with co or propane but these units are a small price to pay for the added safety
