Where's the inverter

I just took delivery of a 2016 Thor Axis 25.2. During my walk thru the guy said I don't have an inverter but I have seen videos by sales guys stating my unit does indeed have an inverter. Can someone please help with this controversy.

I am not aware of any Axis or Vegas models that come with an inverter installed unless it was a dealer add-on. Thor also does not list an inverter as a feature on any of the models.

No Inverter in any of these coaches. I had to install a inverter myself. The Axis/Thor line has a Power Conveter/Charger for supplying 12 Volts (lights and charge house/vehicle batteries) when plugged into a 120v AC source.

A small inverter is relatively easy to install directly to the coach batteries. I have installed one in both my Vegas/Axis 24.1's. I previously posted both installations on this forum, if you are interested.

Thanks everyone for the clarification. I've come to the conclusion that there are many people in this RV segment whether it be in sales, service or some other position, that either need to be better trained on the product, better trained for their job, or just go work in an industry that pertinent information is not important. My purchase experience was very confusing because not one person I dealt with had the answers I was looking for. Thank you to all the forum members that are so willing to help with any info that someone might need.

Look under "Maintenance and Repair, Thor Vegas console" back in March for description and pics.
I'll see if I can find the model.

This is the inverter I bought for my Axis. Enough to run my computer and fans.

I have a 1000 wt inverter mounted on the wall ahead of the entry door. The cable goes straight down through the floor into the front curbside storage bay, then drilled through to the coach batteries.

If you do this, be sure you allow room for the bed apparatus to clear.

I think you are confusing inverters and converters.

Inverters take 12vdc in and put out 120vac.

Converters take 120vac in and put out 12vdc. some converters are multi stage.

I never heard of a 3 stage inverter.

Edit: Oops, didn't see your second post.
