The best wax is the one someone puts on for you.
My motorhome is way to big for me to do. Can but dont wont to work that hard. I use the Washwax All system. I wash the mh first then apply the washwaxall. Takes maybe 2 hours and it doesnt break my back.

Mix equal parts McQuires Gold and Turtle Wax Wash n Wax in a bucket of water and wash your coach. Not as good as a true wax job but looks pretty good, and it's easy!

I have had good luck with Rejex it is a polymer sealant. I have found it seems to last longer than wax.

I was one side or end at a time and then (don't laugh cause it works) I use my leaf blower to dry the coach before it has a chance to water spot. After I'm done I use spray detailer wax on a micro fiber cloth for touch up.
I learned the leaf blower trick from a friend who's been a professional detailer for over 40 years, he's taught me a lot of good "tricks of the trade"!!!

If you search for "The beast is getting a detailing" you will find my thread from when my coach was done by a mobile detailer and some of the products that were used. The final wax used was Pinnacle. Tried McKees but we didn't like the haze after wiping it off.

SuperD,
Do you dilute the mixture as recommended on the bottles? Also, could this solution be used with a pressure washer? Love the leaf blower trick.
Thanks

have long been a "mequiars" product fan. in the spring I wash the unit and apply mequiars carnauba paste wax. (It takes me all day of course). During the year I wash it and apply the quick detailer. Seems to hold up well. Allen

I just spent 7 fun 95 degree temp hours on my rig w/ Meguiars 50 wax. I don't think the rig had ever been waxed- did a great job on the fiberglass to take off oxidation and shine it up but i have some decals that the shine has been lost (or they used two types). If anyone has better options on decals (besides 303) let me know....
After that experience i am going to try some of your ideas on wash/wax to keep it nice- that was not a fun day.....

I tried several different types, waxing after compounding, etc...
I landed on using an acrylic floor polish. It's the only thing that brought the shine back on my faded finish. i know it's not the correct use of the product, and has some potential pitfalls...but a good scrubbing head to toe with barkeeper's Friend, followed by several coats of floor polish and the think finally looked acceptable again!

I used this Car Guys sealant and it has given great shine and protection. I sealed the entire RV with it, and I put extra coats on the forward areas that get all the bugs. It has made the bugs easier to clean off.

I use a Lucas product on all my vehicles that is a spray that is easy on and off, great shine, no residue. We all have our preferences, but this is one I have used for years and works great. Also, got this tip from a local car detailer. Lucas Slick Mist, Walmart.

This thread is going to go the way of the "what motor oil do you use". LOL I have been using ZAINO Bros show car polish for roughly 14 yrs now. I have a 99 Dodge Dakota R/T that I show & drag race. These products are by far the best & EASIEST I have ever used! With my arthritis I don't like washing/waxing any more than necassary.
#1) You don't have to "chisel" this of like regular car waxes. It wipes on with a really light haze. Even in 95 degree heat like Lazinskm describes, it wipes off super easily.
#2) It lasts about a year on a single coat. Before retirement I only had a chance to apply Zaino to my wife's car once a year.
#3) It doesn't turn all you black rubber/plastic trim chalky white, it actually treats & protects it.
#3) While I am applying, I rub it onto the plastic head & tail lights to protect from yellowing.
#4) Then, use the application cloth on all your glass. It works just about as good as rainex.
Purchase these items as a bare minimum.

Indeed everyone will be posting their favorite magic formula.
As for us: This past spring I tried RejeX (after reading about it in a similar "what motor oil" er "what wax do you use" thread here). Been happy with it so far; waiting to see how well it holds up.

I am going to use a liquid marine wax made by Starbrite. I've used it on my fiberglass boats and also my truck, works amazing. It contains PTEF a teflon based additive and it holds up well in UV. You can buy it at West Marine.

Nu Finish. Easy on- easy off. Once a year. I pay a kid in the neighborhood to do it after I give him some instruction.
