I hope this is not old news (searched but didn't see this), but on the Palazzo Owners FB group, a member posted a fix for the dreaded Axxera radio muting every time the turn signal is used.
This is a firmware update for AMV70, AVM72NAV, AVM80, AVM82, AVM111NAV and AVM111NAV systems.

I just did it to my AVM111NAV and it worked perfectly - no more mute on turn signal!
For my model, I had to pull the unit out of the dash to access the USB port, which you plug the USB flash drive with the firmware update (downloaded on your computer, "un-zipped", and copied to the flashdrive).
Going on our next trip tomorrow and looking forward to the lack of interpretations to our tunes!
