Angry Found live 12V wires under the kitchen drawer

The kitchen sewer pipe broken and leaking that make me remove the drawers to repair it on my motorhome, then I saw two wires on the floor and the metal wire exposed, I tested them, they are 12v. look like factory wants to connect something but did not and forgot wrap the expose wire with tape. I can't find where the other end connected since them are going to the wall. I use E tape to warped both wires to keep them not create sparks.

Anyone had that kind of experiences? I think that is very dangerous mistake which can cause fire.

Did you have to move the saw dust piles, cut out plugs and wire clippings to see it! hehe

I found some crazy wiring issues in our THor RV's over the years.

Wrap it and tuck it up!

Did you fix your leak?

Is the propane sniffer nearby? Perhaps it was never wired up??

USB plugs nearby?

Light--although I can't think of a light down low like that unless its like foot lighting.

Does it turn on/off with a switch?

The hot wires under the drawer, no devices nearby. Crazy!

At least you have some 12V wires in case you want to add something in that area. Maybe another USB charging station.

Have you tried pulling the fuses one by one and checking the wires to determine what circuit it's on?

Didn’t try that since everything’s working, so just taped both ends and leaves there.

We have had a number of RV's, Tuscany included, with lighting below the cabinets

Landmark and Yellowstone seemed to be a couple of the leaders in the floor lighting

I don’t think they plan install the light behind the drawer.

The lights are in front of the cabinets in the overhang, just above the floor

Perhaps you haven't seen them in many coaches and higher end campers

Wouldn't you thing the MH industry would learn how to build wiring harnesses ahead of assembly and use modular plugs for any of the options?

Yes, I didn’t see many Rvs, especially high end, but just don’t understand why they need a light behind the drawer, for looking good? Thor? I don’t think so.
