There is something to be said about Japanese quality.
Without taking their merit on pursuing a high quality standard, MOST of their success in reducing problems is due to REDUCED VARIATION and that means LOW NUMBER OF OPTIONS.

Two examples:
When I bought my last truck, Ford had 54 versions of the F150, Toyota had 3 of Tundra....
Kawazaki Vulcan 900 is EXACTLY the same since it was launched 15 years ago...

But on the RV industry you see them changing a lot and launching models year after year...

My point is: Unless the consumer is willing to buy that lack of options, American auto (and RV) will never reach Japanese quality consistency....

As stated earlier, this has nothing to do with the motorized chassis...it has everything to do with what ithey nstall on top of it.
