Axerra may be right given they designed the system with limited capability
I am curious if the AV-In suggestion will actually work? Most radios have you select source i.e Radio, BT, CD/DVD, AUX etc.?
I do know one inexpensive way to fix your problem and it might lead you to an even better idea
I have an Outdoor Theater in my backyard, it is how I keep Covid 19 non-serious friends and relatives out of my house
Anyways... I purchased a Bose Solo 5 just playing around. I use a laptop to stream video to a projector. The Bluetooth from my laptop connects to my Bose Solo 5; compared to what I had, we get really nice sound. I say it that way because you may wish to buy an even better system that can do the same thing?
One day by accident. I was outside and noticed music playing on the Bose Solo 5; but it was not the movie we were watching? I got confused; so I turned the volume down on my Bose Solo 5 and everything got quiet!!! Turn it back up and I hear the movie and soft music; so I turn the volume down on my laptop and I could clearly tell the music was from my mobile phone that had connected to my Bose Solo 5. It was playing music too!!!
I now plan to put a Bose Solo 5 or similar in the RV and connect to the main TV. It would at least allow a 2nd person to connect to play music if my phone is otherwise connected to the main system.
