You're gonna love that compressor, works great, airs up fast. I also use it to blow out the water lines for winter. I have three air compressors of different sizes and this is my favorite!

Since the power is supplied by the cg gen I might as well just use my gen. I don't like dry camping but for 4-6 days I can rough it out. Its also first come first served but you can and should get reservations.
So if anyone here wants to joins us we can plan to meet somewhere a few miles away, I read there is a casino close by and its a good place to meet up, and then we drive to the cg together. That way we all camp next to each other.
From my reading it seems good to get there 1 day before it starts and stay at least 4 days or more.
Anyone have experience here or suggestions please let me know.
Also who's interested in going. Dino?? Dave?? Kev?? Don?? Anyone??
I know its 1 1/2 years away but I have lots of other trips planned so I need to look into this now. Also booking a camp site needs to be done in advance. I know I'll be stopping in several areas of Arizona before N.M. and maybe a city of two after. SO the planning is starting.
THanks Jerry

I think joining up and caravaning to the CG is a great idea Jerry! Planning is a must!! Angie and I are going this year and we had to make reservations as soon as last year's (2016) Fiesta was over. We are staying for 4 days (Thur-Sun) the first week of the Fiesta. Yes, it is dry camping but the Fiesta will supply water if needed for a fee. There will also be a "honey" wagon available to dump your "stuff" for a fee also. FREE shuttle to the balloon launch area is provided via "Yellow Dogs". Visit the Fiesta website often to get updates and especially when this years Fiesta is over, that's when they open up reservations for 2018!!
We are in for 2018!!!!

Dino I have the same unit and really like the compact size and power. I use mine for the rv, ,motorcycle, and truck. A little pricey but I feel its worth the money.

New 39" Vizio TV install
During my last trip i finally had the chance to try the cg cable. All 3 tvs got nothing. The Seiki tvs did not have the qam tuners. So it was time to replace them
The bedroom and outside tv will be replaced with Samsung 32". Because they sit in a cabinet i can not put a larger one in. Costco has them for $179. They are not smart tvs but i dont need them to be. Ill get the tvs when my buddy buys 800 rounds of 30.06 that i dont need anymore. That should be next week.
I know the 2018s now have 40" tvs in the living area. I did some research and a 40 will not fit without sticking out into the hallway. But the 39" Vizio from Costco $219 fits perfect with a mod to the bracket.
I called Thor and was told they use 3/4" plywood as the backer for the tv bracket and it has a weight capacity of 20 pounds.
The Vizio weighs 14 pounds so i was good there. The old tv weiggted 10.5 pounds.
The bracket is screwed into the wall/backer with 6 wood screws. The mounting plate is screwed into this bracket with 4 self tapping screws. The bracket that screws into the tv mounts/attaches to the mounting plate.
I had to remove the 4 self tapping screws on the mounting plate and move it one hole over. This was needed to keep the tv from hitting the cabinets. Two screws went into the old holes and i had to make new holes. All wires and plug went in no problem. The picture is way better and i got 160 digital channels after the scan. I did need to put a self sticking felt type pad behind the tvs corner because it was touching the wall.
Heres some pics of before, the install, and after.
In the pic with the blue tape on the bracket i used that to catch the metal shavings that was created by the self tapping screws
If you have questions let me know.
Jerry

Jerry, that 39" looks good!!! I'm supposed to get my coach back from warranty repair on Saturday. I only changed out two of my tv's, bedroom and living room. Think I'll take the living room tv and move it to the outside and put a Visio like yours in the living room. I had measured once before to see what would fit and knew a 40" would be tight, I'll get the 39" now. We're going to the beach in Galveston for six days the end of the month, be there over the fourth, be nice to have a larger tv.
Did you have to enlarge the mounting holes for the Visio, I had to for my Samsungs. Again, great job!!!

Dave,
Vizio has small screws/bolts for the mounting bracket. You will need to buy 4 of them if you don't already have them. They don't come with the mounting screws. They are M-4. I had to call Vizio to get the size. Rep said M-4x12mm is the hole. I went to Home Depot and bought M-4x16mm bolts. The 16mm was a tad long but I used a star washer and regular washer. It snugged up tight.
