Outside Kitchen LP Grill
I have a Miramar and it came with an Aussie grill. I would like to upgrade to a better grill and was wondering if anyone else has done this. What grill can connect without modifications just as the Aussie grill does?

You can connect just about any grill. Since you already have pressure regulation from the tank you can remove the pressure regulator from the grill and go directly to the valve. If the connection from your Aussie won't switch to your new grill you can probably get the parts you need from Camping World.

I just replaced my Aussie grille after two years with a Weber q 2000 .
Plus was It fit in the same bay and bag as the Aussie .
There was a fitting I had to get to fit the old quite disconnect hose but that was it.
Cooks way better then the old one.

What type of fitting did you get? I never had the Aussie grill since I ditched the outside kitchen, but Thor put in the gas connection anyway. I friend had a hose for me, but it was a different connector. Maybe this adapter is what I need. Otherwise will make a connection at the tank compartment and disconnect this gas line.
Thanks, John

This is what you need for your grill:
https://www.amazon.com/Camco-57274-C...ZT03HPEEZ1K5Y7
assuming it will fit. This allows you to connect your high pressure grill to the regulated, low pressure propane system in your RV.

Has anyone on here had an issue with using a longer extension hose? I hooked up a 25 foot hose from my RV to my propane fire pit and it seems like it doesn't get the same Flame as when I use a shorter 8-footer.

I went with a Weber Q2200 to replace the Aussie. Minor modification was needed to remove the Weber's regulator. Less than 15.00 in parts and 30 minutes of work.
Here is the link to the thread that I posted to include the parts list aroung post 22.

I have 2 hoses 6 foot and 8 foot that I sometimes connect together for my grill. I have not had any issues with LPG pressure or grill flame using both for a 14 foot run.

The gas pressure in your hose should remain the same regardless of the length. It will take longer to purge the air from the line due to the length.
