Now I'm sure DRV doesn't have a pallet of diesel inverter gennys laying around so that might have figured into the equation for me.
It's all a matter of talking o the right person with the right info needed to proceed. Hence my inverter comment.

Figured you understood just wanted to make sure.

Yeah, thought about it - briefly. The 220 version forces you up to the 10K size.
The 8K is already big and heavy enough. The 10K is a few inches bigger then the 8K and adds another 340 pounds to the 8K's 420 pounds.
Don't recall if you can get the 10K in an inverter version, which my 8K is.

Motorhome Specialists in Alvarado Texas is pretty big. I have no idea how big Rolling Retreats are. Motorhome Specialists have a wide range of 5th wheels, pull behinds, Class C, Super C, Class B and Class A and their prices are great. We saved 45K by buying from them instead of in Salt Lake City near where we live.

I have been to MHSRV several times. My take on them is they are so big, they can't even keep track of inventory. Looking at some used MHs: "Where is this one?" "Well, it was over in this row Monday, may have been sold." This went on for about 3 units at different visits, gave up on them. They have only been a DRV dealer maybe 2 years...I lived near them for years and watched them expand like Covid-19. They attracted the new CW just north of them and Holiday World across the interstate. If you want to look at NEW MHs, that is the place to go. Ancira was just north of them where CW is now, and also was the REV shop for several years.
But are they the best place to buy--it's your money....

Discussion is "the largest DRV only" dealer or the largest dealer that sells DRV's?

]Largest dealer )
"Other than Rolling Retreats who is the largest DRV dealer in the country? "
Only know of one dealer who "only" sells DRV, so I guess they win in that category.
Bill

Yup, just curious and interested in who might be the largest DRV dealer. And I understand that Rolling Retreats might be the best thought of dealer out there but as a fulltimer them not taking trades on any other brand hampers my interest.

If you would like to check with Alicia at RR--she often can work a deal with a local SOB dealer for your trade-in. Don't let not already having a DRV keep you from talking to her.
Won't cost anything but a little time to find out the skinny, just call her.
