Long time listener, first time caller

Purchased my 2021 Vegas in Tennessee, just finished driving back to SoCal.

We took a risk on this, knowing we had absolutely no leverage with the dealer. The shakedown cruise went fairly well, EXCEPT:

-the cab a/c died
-the water tank was leaking into the living area

The a/c has to be a blown fuse (the compressor was not coming on). Before I set up an appointment w/Ford, anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks, and Howdy.

Could be several possibilities. fuse, low on freon, low pressure switch, high pressure switch, a/c control, a/c compressor clutch or coil. Check fuse if fuse is good pull wire from the compressor and check to see if you're getting 12v to the coil, check system for freon,

Better make an appointment with a Thor dealer: Ford doesn't warrant the A/C system unless the compressor or condenser went bad.

Welcome.

Check the strainer on the pump for your water leak. It may not be tight (under the passenger side rear bed).

Welcome. We are having a So Cal rally at Pechanga casino in November. If you want to meet some local members make a reservation.

We had the same A/C problem on our 2020 Vegas and took it to Mike Thompson and they fixed the problem along with others. It sat there for a month but it was finally right.

When we took possession of our 2020 Vegas, we had a leak when filling the fresh water tank. Turned out to be a missing cap on the antifreeze intake tube. Hopefully it is something simple like that.
