I am going to try a couple of recommended products but so far nothing I have found takes off grasshoppers easily
Marketing has become a powerful science to get a lot of people to do alot of things that make me shake my head I can't say they don't work; but why? i.e. every time I read recommendations from posters to put Mop & Glo on the RV or the Spray and Forget stuff

dk - the ceramic is listed as great for glass... I'm putting on the wife's daily driver this weekend... will update after some bug/rain exposure.

P.S. I'm getting the itch for that McGuires marine wax... I think it buffs to a shine better than ceramic.

We bought our 2017 hurricane in 2018 after 1 year of use we paid for ceramic coating. All we use to keep it clean is water and a soft brush. Still looks great in 2021. We were in Michigan's upper Peninsula for two weeks with plenty of bugs. All came off after sitting at our house for two days.

I agree with rynosback. Dryer sheets work the best. I use them after each trip. Especially here in the south when the love bugs come out.

Since you travel some of the same roads I do, have you used it on large grasshoppers?

I haven't found anything but hard scrubbing with a bug sponge that seems to take them off. Usually get plastered in the fall crossing KS or NE.

Have you tried them on surfaces that are plastered with large bugs? I only get results when using them on small bugs.

I bought one of the high end bug sponges to see if it helped but not much.

Glad they work for you

The guy I bought my home from left this stuff (Rain-X Bug and Tar Remover) spray on let sit a minute and pretty much wash off. If your washing your rig/car/truck, use this at the end. It destroys the suds in the bucket if you dip your brush back in the soap.
