Going back to the factory for repairs
Well our date has finally come to take our Outlaw 29H in for warranty repairs. We are taking the Prius with us on a uhaul tow dolly. Super windy today on the turnpike. We are happy Thor reaches out to us and approved their facility to make the repairs. We are staying there tonight in their lot so that should be cool.

Its cool in as much as a big parking lot with an electrical hook up can be LOL (ok yeah its cool that Thor provides that for people using factory service).

I took my Axis to the factory last year for repairs. I could not be happier with the work they did and how accommodating they were. It’s unfortunate they don’t put that same attention to detail when they build their units the first time!

I've had a number of people ask why I don't go to a dealer for the repairs. My issues are not that big of a deal but, if anyone reads the thousands of posts about how sorry the service generally is throughout the dealer network and how you have to leave your coach for weeks as it sits in such an ignored state...Welcome To Wakarusa! Plus, I'm excited about the tours and learning where everything is "behind the walls". Never turn down the opportunity for a Road Trip!!

I will try to sneak a few in with a small body cam I can wear. The factory has a strict policy of no photography in the production buildings.

Maybe I'll get to physically meet a couple of you in the waiting room...I "hope" to be picking up our '18 Miramar 35.2 that day. Just waiting to hear back from them as I left the coach on 11/26.

We just dropped it off today but had to come home. We plan on doing the tour when we return to pick it up.
If their policy allows it I will. From what I understand the tours are after production hours so we won’t see the most exciting stuff but still seeing in process stuff will be nice!

My cameras are Cobras but those on TV will work fine for what they do.
Michael...they just postponed my repairs for a month...something about a Miramar 35.2 in the shop they were gonna have to order parts for from Bangladesh. Said they didn't expect to get it finished until some time in January. They said the owner was a jerk so they were gonna make him wait.
