Fresh water tank during storrage

Is it OK to leave the Fresh water tank 1/2 to 2/3 full during storage between trips? Typically, this storage will be about a month in spring to fall non-freezing weather.

I'd be concerned about that water spending it's time growing bacteria, and getting pretty funky.
I'd drain it...

I take the opposite opinion....for a month or so no prob. I do it all the time... If it stretches much past maybe 6 weeks or so I'll drain and refill most likely. I'm on city water...so it's coming in with a bit of chlorine in it....

Also, I try to tend towards more full to reduce the air space...but that's not a show stopper for me for the water
