Locking Latch

The locking latch on one of the storage doors locks with key, but I can still open the door. I have pulled off the cover, but cannot see into the lock itself. Is there a fix for this or a way to get into the lock assembly itself?

2019 Thor Magnitude BH35. It is the slam latch for the large door on the passenger side which has a release at both the top and bottom of the door.

Is it the handle won't move because the key has the tumbler locked, or the door won't release when the handle is pulled? Sometime you have to give the door a pretty firm pull because they typically of latches are not adjusted properly. Could be the weather stripping is sticking making it difficult to open. I'll look at mine later today to see what kind of access there might be if it won't open.

The problem appears to be the metal piece under the handle. There is a small block that prevents the swing arm's path when the handle is locked. Mine, when locked, if I give it a tug will go over the block and open the latches. Not sure there is a fix other than a replacement of the handle itself.

Apologize I misread your OP and thought you could not get the door open.
