Nothing more moving than the Arizona Memorial to put things into perspective about this country. It is a shame so many people these days don't understand. I thought 9/11 would be a wakeup call.... and it was... but only briefly.

It truly was the greatest generation.... if history repeated itself, I am not so sure the people of today would do what the young men and women of that era did....... from lying about their age to enlist....... to storming Omaha against all odds with little chance of survival.... to spending long hours back at home building the things needed to fight and end tyranny...... to getting the dreaded telegram from the Army, Airforce, Navy or Marines.
