Quick question on Tilt-a-bed

Does anyone know if its was meant to be used while you and your spouse are actually in the bed?

Or not really rated for having weight on the bed...

But its not like I was asking about how I install mirrors on the ceiling...

We use ours regularly to watch TV, read, use our laptops.

The motor is not strong enough to raise it while you are laying on it but the mechanical portion can support you lying on the bed.

You can lower it while on the bed.

Also if you want to replace the mattress, a regular size king size mattress will fit,at the outside corners at the foot of the frame rail there are 2 bolts on each side,you can remove the bolts pull frame rail out 4 inches and reinstall the bolts and it will now fit a regular king size mattress.

We have had one of the Niagra adjustable beds for about 30 yrs...the mech still works...It is a California King...as it is 2 separate oversize singles attached at the base...so they operate independent of each other....When we replaced the mattreses a number of years ago...we went with Sleep Number and they work well …
