Also I use the bubble wrap foil on the windows I don’t need for light. Also for the sunrise side of the rv in the morning.

Vinyl windshield cover

I use an outside white vinyl and cloth windshield and driver/passenger window cover. Because it is white, it reflects heat. Because it is on the outside, the cover may get hot, but not the window. Because it covers a huge chinch of window glass that is facing upward, it blocks a big area of sunlight that would otherwise stream in and heat your motorhome.
It takes less than a minute to put it over the windows. I hope that this helps you stay cool.

I had those on my old Jayco 450 chassis and they work great now I need to sell them since I have a class A. I'm thinking of going with the magnetic window covers because the curtain doesn't keep enough heat out

Be very careful with the dogs. Excessive heat can cause seizures. Ice cubes, ice pops, cool towels along with plenty of water. They need to be kept cool. Unfortunately speaking from experience 😕😪

I use Sunguard shades. They use 3m snaps to stay in place. When on the cockpit stays cool. Won’t help when driving. They are custom made to fit.

While our RV is a different model, I find that there's a lot of heat in the cabinets over the front of the cab (where, of course, the TV electronics are stored). Putting insulation there may help, and as said between the windows and the shades. We've travelled from Palm Springs across county eastward many times and we've never had to adjust the generator. Keep an eye on the generator dashboard light, sometimes if it stalls, we've not seen it for awhile or noticed that the AC's weren't on.

I bought four of the fleece pillows from Camping World, and they definitely help. You still won't be able to keep the coach cool in high temperatures with only a single AC unit running, but in my case they helped to make the difference between unbearable and unpleasant but tolerable.

Thanks for the offer brother. My main concern right now is to fix the Mini Cooper Im towing. My tire strap rubbed onto the passenger brake caliper line. Brake fluid dumped all over the place at the CG. We still have 2 days before we get to OH. There is a Mini Cooper dealership in Cincinnati. Will give them a call tomorrow as soon as they open.

As far as the inside temp, the window covwrings (Reflectix from Home Depot) helped a lot to keep the inside cooler. I run the living room AC only and it kept the inside temp comfortable.

If you can't find the exact brake line, maybe one from an auto parts store would work if both ends are the same. Might be worth a try if BMW doesn't have one in stock

She went to a local hardware store and got one of those cheap plugin floor fans. She then got a bag of ice at the campground office, put the ice in a large bowl, placed the bowl on a table and placed the fan behind the table. We then had a second air conditioner. I don't think that it did that much good but it seemed to make her happy.
A swamp cooler...

I spent an hour today cutting and fitting it to our windows. I was working in the driveway but then moved everything into the RV. Too warm.

What about small pieces of velcro in each corner

Probably the best bet. It was so flipping hot out, I hung it with a piece of duct tape.

Before we added a second rooftop AC we brought a small portable AC with us when we visited hot places. We got ours at Lowe’s for about $250 and it worked great. We set it on the floor and vented it out a side window. Plug it in to the 20A outlet on the shore power pole with an extension cord out the same window. When we are at our home we still use it to keep our bedroom in the 60s at night while the Rest of the house is set at an energy saving 80 (at night).

I bought a portable Toshiba ac from home depot (tip take the wheels off.) I use small chocks to keep it from moving during travel and one to keep it level while running it. I don't run it during travel because the regular ac an cab ac do great. I have a 28 foot class c

We have a 2017 Thor Siesta (25 ft). We isolated the front cabin from the rest of the house by installing a "darkening" curtain just behind the driver and passenger seats. We accomplished a couple things: we reduced the space to cool or heat during cold days. Also, during cold days the vehicle heater only heats the front cabin while driving and not the entire motorhome. Amazon sells ceiling curtain tracks.

Hello
If it isn’t one thing it’s another we start a short road trip on Wednesday and Lord behold while driving this morning already over 80 degrees in Alabama before 0830 this morning I turn my ac on and nothing but hot air🥵🥵🥵🥵 I contacted the tech who no longer works at the rv place he said he put two cans of Freon in and it was during late winter and it blew cold air but he suspected a small leak somewhere but wasn’t for sure!!! Any recommendations on how I can troubleshoot if there is a leak under the hood or anything g the main cabins ac on the roof work great, but very uncomfortable on a road trip🥵 have a great evening folks☺️
