Furniture
Hey all,
I'm looking for ideas, experiences or opinions on RV furniture. I'm looking to replace my love couch/extend-a-bed which is very uncomfortable. As I've been looking for a replacement. I'm finding the new ones uncomfortable also. Plus they are on the expensive side. Why pay for uncomfortable?
What have you done? Has anyone put in a basic love seat from a furniture store?? How did you install it.
Any and all suggestions welcomed!
Thanks
Dave

Most of the ones that are in campers now at recent RV show. and ones for suggested replacements. With most we are limited by length. I've looked at the dual recliners from Thomas Payne and another one on website who's brand name escapes me. Since I don't need a bed. I'm preferring the basic love seat or recliners. I would prefer not to pay an arm and a leg for one either.
Bob love the idea!

If your limited on space as I was (58" - 60") you may want to look at Overstock.com. I just replaced this:
With this:
from:
https://www.overstock.com/Home-Garde...Loveseat&rfmt=
Everyone who has sat in them remark how comfortable they are; and they are loads better than the original "couch".

What are the dimensions that you have to work with?
Perhaps someone in here can point you in a worthwhile direction...

Ah well then I can't help as I paid an arm and a leg ! LOL
We replaced our fold out bed couch (it used an air mattress and had a bar that ran right through your back--was terrible) with a recliner couch that fit in the 68" width we had (from shop4seats.com).
The thing is: I've only really sat in them a few times as the new sofa arrived late last summer/fall right when we put our coach to bed for the winter. Those few times were really cold LOL. They are pretty comfortable when reclined--at least for the few minutes I tested them.

The inside measurement of the slider on the Axis 24.1 is 68 1/2". We are doing the same install as JamieGeek. We want to keep the table and pedestal storage behind it that came with our 2016. Just ordered the unit from the same manufacturer.

And what the picture does not show is that this Monaco set up folds down in the middle with cup holders. The seat portion in the middle flips up for a bit of storage.

Look at the Thomas Payne collection. They aren't cheap but comfortable.

When I looked at love seats in a furniture store they were all to deep. I have 68" also. My love seat is on the slide and I could not find anything that would not hang over the slide. Most were also 6"-8" deeper which would take away a lot of walking area.
I went with Rec Pro love seat. Fits great and is very comfortable.
