I assume that you are using hydraulic levelers. If so it is a little surprising as those levelers act on the coach's frame and should not tilt when more side load is put on them with the slide out.

But in any case I would just tilt the coach a little against the slide when you level so that it is all level when the slide is out. That assumes you can control side to side leveling.

How much is it out of level when the slide is out starting with a level coach?

David

Question do you have hydraulic leveling system? And are you leveling in auto mode?
I have had same issue with my ACE after I level with the slides in, as the mfgr states the weight of the extended slides pull the coach out of level. In my case I bring the slide side up about a 1/4 bubble with the manual function prior to extending the slides. After I extend the slides it is usually right on. Once in a while it will require a further tweek in manual mode after the slides are out.

Just "level" your coach with the slide a little bit high. When it's extended: it should level everything out nicely.
(although it may take a couple of tries; to figure out how much "english" you need to add to the leveling...)

I am going to assume you do not have Hydraulic levelers and are just using tire pads to level your unit. If I'm correct than what is happening is that your suspension is pushing the unit un-level as the weight of the slide is going out.
Figure out how much it's sagging then raise that side up that much more the next time.

We drove ourselves crazy the first year trying to guess the tilt. We have a 24F and added a LevelMate Pro. Set the coach at level with the slide out, then brought the slide in, set the LevelMate Pro as level in this position (actually 1.5" h on slide side). Now we park and level with our legos to our LevelMate Pro programmed level, push the slide out and perfect level each time.

Just installed one! It works great and takes the guesswork out of leveling.

We've had a Levelmate Pro on our Axis for years now. Love it.

Just remember to put a new battery in it at the beginning of each season

I would never use levelers or make any adjustments to the levelers AFTER the slides have been extended. This could throw the slides out of alignment. If you must adjust...bring slides in, make adjustments, then extend them out again.

My owners manual had conflicting information. On one page they said level then slides. On another page they say slides then level. I asked and their emailed response was

“ David,
You are correct there is conflicting information in our generalized owner’s manuals.
We do feel it is best to what you are most comfortable with.
Either way is going to be fine.”

I will say that the current leveling system is smooth and no where as jerky as the system in the Challenger.

At least they gave you the option...
Pick whichever page you remembered to turn to: and follow those instructions.

For automatic leveling system- adjust Zero point

If you have an automatic leveling system, like Lipperts, you can adjust your Zero point so it is automatically levels with the right amount of tilt, so you will be leveled after extending your slide.

I have 4 slides and the rig weighs over 34,000lbs. After leveling I alternate sides when opening slides so I never have an issue. Besides the weight and this monster frame likely help a lot.

I can adjust my Equalizer system in the same way...
But I never had to. Our living room, and bedroom slides don't seem to throw things off by a significant amount.

My 18 Miramar 34.2 has 1 slide that runs the entire drivers side of the coach. I have the Lippert system.

I always have trouble after the slide is out. Thanks for the zero point adjust idea. I didn’t put 2 and 2 together.

Appreciate the info.

We have a 2018 Freedom Elite 24FE Sprinter and had the same problem...the "stabilizers" that come with this coach really didn't do a good job of leveling. We had an Equalizer leveling system installed and problem solved

Stabilizers aren't designed to level an RV. Their job is to simply keep the rig from rocking on it's suspension as you move around inside it.
