My 24.1 has the cooktop on the passenger side
So I put a “T” in the line where the main comes into the cooktop (see photo)
Then I ran a propane rubber hose line with female on both ends thru the floor (get at any hardware store). Then out the side.
Silicone’d around all the openings as needed.

The side cover plate was on Amazon, there are many to choose from.
Also, you’ll need a quick disconnect fitting as well.

Here’s my photos…
I ran my own (DIY) quick connect last summer. I installed a T in the propane manifold attached to the frame rail under the rig below the stove area. Then I ran a short hose to the edge of the outer wall and secured it with a clamp... which I DO NOT like. It's not very stable.

Question... Maybe it's obvious, but did you cut a hole to install that port? Or did that come on your rig pre-installed? That is EXACTLY what I'd like to do... what did you use to cut the hole with? That's a BIG commit... but maybe I'm overthinking it?

I use a Bi-Mart/Bi-Low $19.95 cheepie. Already had a "T" ahead of the coach regulator.
Just hooked up the extension full tank pressure approved hose and connected where the little green propane bottle was connected to the BBQ regulator.. good for burning dead animals.

I actually found the appropriate valve for the tank line (installed inline between tank and regulator) and then found a proper connection fitting and 20' hose to grill. The hose will need a brass reduction fitting and hose clamp. You want to keep the BBQ regulator with this set up since the propane take off should be regulated near the RV tank to manage pressure and avoid propane in-hose oil build up issues with long hoses. The main fitting for RV tank was not cheap, but it works great. I got most items at RV store. Hose from Amazon, fittings form Ebay. My BBQ uses the small fuel tank originally (what a pain). I also got a cast iron flat griddle for BBQ and made pancakes for the grand kids - how cool was BBQ pancakes! :-)

A DRV is:

It is a separate area on the Forum. Sometimes DRV threads are accidentally invaded by MH owners who drop in from the New Posts area not noticing the discussion is about DRVs. They add their MH relevant take to the thread which may be completely out in left field in a DRV centric discussion and causes confusion in the thread. The DRV guys get a little touchy about that non-relevant input but who can blame them.

It's like a discussion about improving F53 chassis ride and handling and someone posts what they did to their class B chassis.

A new hole with a standard 3” hole saw
Very simple to do once you know the diameter of the circle needed for the cover plate.

Here’s a photo of the plug I drilled out, 1.5” thick…
