Do you have the solar connector "prep" on the roof? If so, do a continuity test from there to those wires.

Do me a favor, what is your DC converter wired too? It looks like a normal plug end hooked up to your AC breaker panel, mine was a plug to a pig tail, then they wire it up to the breaker panel. I updated the plug to a pwr outlet screwed to the floor and used correct wiring to the breaker panel. I need to add a picture of my area tomorrow. Your area looks clean an neat,

Does the roof connector look like the pic below?

If so, the caps just screw off... then you plug the male solar connector into there.

But... If you have solar prep, the cables from that roof connector (red & black) usually are routed to a solar charge controller mounted on the side of a cabinet in your entry stair area. They are heavier gauge than the wire you found.

That being the case... back to square one... I'm thinking nothing to do with the solar. But it looks like heavier wire, so probably wiring prep for higher amp DC accessory??

Try to trace the wire loom as far as possible - that may isolate it to a certain part of the RV to give you a clue.

I looked inside my area, no un-used wire harness. Anyway, while i was in there i took a picture of the outlet i installed for the converter, AC plug in floor and 14 g wire to Breaker panel, i think it looks a little more professional. You can also see, i added another plug outlet to install a led night light for floor illumination around the bed (in blue).

nope, the DC converter, which has a plug on it. It's the silver box mounted to the wall.

yea, just cleaning up in there and noticed the refrig is on the receptacle outlet breaker, and updated the DC converter plug and Breaker panel. I keep everything in the gray box, in case i need to bring back to production config.

Clean & neat... everything tied up as it should be - nice!

To assist when nature calls at night - I installed motion sensed 12v floor lights - one at the foot of the bed and another in the bathroom near the floor just inside the door. They're bright enough to light the floor without blinding you, and no fumbling for a switch OR having to turn on the bathroom light. They shut off after a couple minutes by themselves.

If you log onto Thor web page, you can get all your documents including the wiring diagrams. They will tell you the color of each cable and you can find out where it goes. It maybe for an option you do not have?

Under Owners, then owners resources you can log in or create a login. Get all the documents for your rig.

Just because the wires are the same color, don't assume. If you have wires going to the roof, check if you have continuity on them from each end. That will answer your question.
