Microwave Convection Oven

Hi. I have a Kitchenaid microwave convection oven in my 2017 Thor Miramar . I noticed after baking something at 375-400. When I take the item out, the unit is very hot. Should there be a cooling fan that goes on?

Did you check with the manufacturer or the Microwave? Or look on line by Googling the name and model number and get the user manual?

If it is a convection oven then there should be a circulating fan that runs, otherwise, it is just an oven. When microwaving there should be a separate cooling fan that runs to cool the magnetron.

Ours is hot after baking just like a regular oven

We use the vent fan on the microwave and if hot outside then the fantastic fan as well
