Oil changes

I changed the oil last year, only used it a couple times. I know its not good to sit does anyone change the oil every year just to be safe if they don't use it that much?

I like to change every 3-5000 miles or yearly which ever comes first. From other post you made about a long trip, change your oil before you go.

We change the oil before it goes to bed for the winter. I like to perform all the maintenance before winter so in the spring I just flush/fill it with water and go.

I was planning on changing every year before the start of the season but debated. I guess easier and safer to do it every year than pay for it later.

Every six months for our rig. Cheap insurance which has never failed me in all the years of vehicle ownership. Things are better today than 40-50 years ago with both oil changes and "tune ups" which are basically a thing of the past (tune-ups).
