The Jack-Knife sofa is one where you lift the bottom up and kind of pull it out; this causes the vertical back part to lay down flat next to the bottom.
LOL I would imagine a jack-knife in the 24.1 would end up something like this since it really isn't long enough to sleep in either direction:
