Thanks for the update and the pics rvanling! Glad to hear you like and it and it's working well. The app looks very user friendly. I'll plan to order the upgrade soon.

Mira

You had to purchase an upgrade? I assumed that it was just an app purchase.

It is an upgrade, the standard G6 panel is not bluetooth capable. The "box" you get is a bluetooth receiver that sends info to the G6 panel that controls everything.

Cost is about $500.00 for the Bluetooth Box, Software upgrade for the panel, the cable to connect and instructions. The actual "app", for your phone, iPad or other mobile device is free.

Here is my "keyhole" light we added to our dark, non backlit switches. They are battery operated, LED, motion activated, attached with removable two sided tape and very cheap on amazon.

Update: I'm bad, the Mira app does in fact operate the awnings, slides, everything on the main panel. I just hadn't played with it enough to find. And with no manual or instructions it is up to use to figure it out...

We added the stick on bump dots to the key lights. Made a world of difference for us. I now don't even think twice about it. It was a huge frustration at the start. I like the idea of an app, but it doesn't solve the issue of getting up to use the restroom in the middle of the night. The bump dots did the trick.

New FireFly control pad

We just test drove a late 2018 Thor Aria and it had BACKLIT touch keys on the main control pad in the hall way. All 2019 Arias will have that. The smaller portable pads are still NOT backlit.

I found led motion sensor puck lights at walmart in thr rv section.meil pl-ms-wh which work on 3 AAA battery's.I stuck one under the medicine cabinet by the light switch and every time I walk in the bathroom it lights up and I can see the firefly wall unit.

We put one on the light button on both sub panels in the bathrooms. At night, you can feel the little dot and know you are on the right button.

Also, the sub panels are wireless and have batteries in them. The front sub panel quit working and I called firefly and they said to replace the battery. That is probably why the sub panels aren't back-lit since it would probably run the batteries down quickly. I bought several of the small batteries to keep on board the motorhome.

Where is the battery located?
Thanks,
Barbara

Kinda late to this thread but interested in results. This was the only thing I didn't like in my first review of our 2018 35SF...no back lights and hitting wrong switches in the dark. So...are you guys saying these are wireless? They can be removed from the wall and used like a remote control? I have one pad over the sofa that doesn't work at all. They have batteries in them? I know I sound like the drunk in the corner that just woke up. I love the fact they control functions from multiple locations but getting tired of using a flashlight to turn on the lights. If there's a link or owners manual for this system, please post it. Thanks!!

The batteries for the subpanels are located behind the panel. The panel will pull off with a little effort.

On your main panel (I believe in the settings menu) you will see an option to look at the subpanels and it will show you the status of the batteries.

I have the same wireless switches and also did not like them in the dark. So I bought little glow in the dark circles from Amazon. I put one on the button I would need to press to light up the nearest light. They work gerat. By early morning they are not bright, but you can still see them. In the bedroom I did not want to turn on the overhead so put the circle on the shelf light button.

I did once have an issue with the panel showing 1/3 on a grey tank and the phone app showed full. Turned out it was full. Sent a note to Firefly Integrations and they sent me a new touch panel (upgraded software) and a device to flash the main unit. Everything is great now.

But they also sent me to a website to repair the wireless switches as the new unit had to be paired. It also has other trouble shooting tips and should have come with the Thor manuals. Take a look.

4 TV's, Satellite Dish, Internet, Convection Oven, Generator, Lights, A/C & Heater and lots of toilet paper. Yes, just like Lewis and Clark.

Aria 3901 (2018) Placing small motion lights next to panels helps. My issue with firefly is with my air conditioner. Rear AC fan turns on at 2deg below ambient but compressor won’t come on until I set temp 7 deg below ambient. Fan always stays on. Replace CB panel and PMM it’s no fix. Coleman had tech swap control panels on AC units with no fix. Thor, firefly, and RV tech all lost. Been this way since delivery in April. 7th trip back.

The Firefly site has a catalog that shows a switch panel that has a proximity switch back lighting option.

Scroll down to the SSP18 switch.
